women abuse speech

Have you ever wonder why when people think about an unknown person, they tend to think of a “he” instead of a “she”? How people always think that women are weaker than men? And why is it always women being abused, and not men?
Well, first of all... what is women abuse? People think that women abuse is just when men start beating up women until they are half dead, well, lets get a real idea of what women abuse is:
Women abuse is domestic violence and abuse, also called intimate partner violence, is when one person purposely causes either physical or mental harm to another, including:
physical abuse
psychological or emotional abuse
sexual assault
isolation
controlling all of the victim's money, shelter, time, food
Often, the violent person is a husband, former husband, boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend, but sometimes the abuser is female. One of the reasons that there are female abusers is that these abusers themselves have experienced abuse before.
And many of the research proved that most of the women who had experienced abused are less likely to marry than the ones who are not being abused.
Specifically, women who were abused as adults tended to avoid romantic relationships with men, whereas women who were abused as children tended to have a series of short-term relationships. Because they feel unsafe of whether they can trust the men or not.
There is a cycle of men abusing women,Phase 1 (Tension): Increased tension, anger, blaming, and arguing. Phase 2 (Abuse): Battering: hitting, slapping, kicking, choking, use of objects or weapons; Sexual abuse; Verbal threats and abuse. Phase 3 (Honeymoon): This stage may become shorter over time; the partner may deny violence, say they were drunk or sorry and promise it will never happen again.
Every year, more than 960,000 incidents of violence against a current or former spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend occur each year, and about 85 % of these victims are women. About 1,500,000 women and are raped and/or physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the US.
On average, more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in this country every day. If we think of it like that, three times 365 days in a year, every year, 1095 women are being killed in a year. and this research was done in 2001, so in this seven years, 7665 women are being killed from abuse.
Find it scary? Well, this is the truth. Those women have to cover up their whole body so their partner won’t recognize them, they get so scared that they don’t even have the courage to go to the washroom. And you know what's more scary? The number of women getting abused is still increasing.
This issue is definitely not the most important social issue in the world, but if we don’t even let these women have their rights to live like us, then who would have the time to even care about all those other issues then?

p.s. there are few sentences that i copied from some websites, and i know thats .........but its my rough copy, so i will change it later..... but here are the websites i went to, if you want more info bout this topic, go there and check it out

Global Warming

Effects of Climate Change Are Rampant Throughout the World

A huge change is underway across the globe and in its atmosphere, scientists report, that is affecting not only nature, but the lives and homes of millions of people. Changes can be measured from the highest mountains to deep in the oceans and are leading to extinction for parts of earth's rich biodiversity. For humans, the changes in climate are particularly dangerous to people who live near the ocean shore and who already suffer from drought, flooding and poverty. Many of these effects have been known previously. But this comprehensive new report carries the imprimature of the United Nations and gathers together and analyzes hundreds of published research papers.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released this latest report: "Climate Change 2007: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability," in Brussels, 6 April 2007. Their summary document shows an increasing impact to natural systems and living things as earth's temperature rises degree by degree. The vulnerabilities reported are stark and focus on people already at risk in the world's poorer nations -- people who have had little to do with the increase of the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere. The scientists indicate that in a few areas, agriculture may improve in the early part of the warming expected this century. But they make clear that unpleasant circumstances are the major effect and that more are in store unless we control our use of fossil fuel and other sources of heat-trapping gases.

The summary report is a consensus document and is subject to last minute changes suggested by world governments and negotiated with the scientific authors. As bad as the report seemed, many news reports emerging from Brussels indicated some scientists said the consensus process left out some serious effects and watered down the language of the summary. It is expected that many more details and straight information from research will be available in the 1500 page full report. More info on this part of the IPCC 2007 study will be posted here later. My article on the first section in February is here.

Sexism
Related to country: Canada
About this category: Human Rights

"M.F.C:Men For Change is a pro-feminist organization. Men continue to grow
by sharing their own stories and by listening to the stories of women. Men
have a great deal to learn from their partners(wives & girlfriends),
daughters, mothers and friends who challenge and support us as men review
and reconstruct their relationships and notions of power." these were the exact
words a man had said and posted on the internet, even though it was known as
an anonymous man.

Hi, I'm Neroshan Srivamadevan and I'm here to talk you about how men treat
women unequally, and also how women, even treat men unequally. I am here to
you about sexism.

Listening to women (as well as sharing our own stories) is a fundamental
step towards ending the division and intolerance of sexism that isolates
us all from forming authentic relationships and bringing about lasting
social change.

Women should be treated equally as the men. A women can do anything a man
can do, they can even do more.

Up to this point I've been writing from a man's point of view. Now I will show
females as well how it is to be sexist or to be in a situation.

If you're thinking these men are sexist, wait until I get to the females. The
females always think that men are stupid or dumber than they are. It's true
that a female can be smarter than a male, but they are not smarter than
all the males.

When I was at wonderland, a man, who was a father of probably a two year
old baby, brought his child into the washroom, the one near the pools, to
change the baby's diapers. Three seconds later the man's wife comes
barging in yelling, and screaming saying, "You're a man,a father, not
a woman or mother. You're stupid and dumb. How can a man like you change a
baby's diapers? Only women can change babies."

The man must of been really embarrassed, right? Wouldn’t have you been
embarrassed as well either as a girl or boy? It’s totally wrong to be
sexist.

I think that being sexist should be a law. But this is only my opinion, what's yours?
Thank you for your time, but I think you didn't have a choice

Car Emissions
About this category: Environment

Is it really worth it to drive a car like this? Think about how much gas it takes up ! Even though it looks awesome, is it really worth it? By driving a car like this, you need to spend more money on gas. You would be burning up a whole lot of fossil fuels that aren't necessary especially because of how much gas costs these days. Burning up more fossil fuels means more amounts of pollution and right now we need to take action and preserve our world we live in not just for ourselves, but also for our future generations.

Air pollution is only one of the many factors of pollution. Air pollution ranges from car emissions to factory emissions (the smoke you see coming out of the long pipes that sticks out of factories) .

Animals and Hibernation

It's me again, but this time i'm talking about hibernation. Hibernation is when animals like birds, bears and other animals Hibernate (sleep) usually through the winter. But all animals have different ways of hibernating. When it's time to hibernate Bird's fly south where it's warmer and come back when spring comes. But to me that doesn't seem like Hibernation.
All I know about bears hibernation is that they go in a cave in the winter and sleep til spring.
So if anybody has any other information about hibernation please message me!
Thanks

sexism toward women
About this category: Human Rights

I think that sexism toward women is a huge issue that is blinded by the media, and I am totally honest
when i say that i know more players and facts about the N.B.A than the amount of facts i know about the W.N.B.A,If you were to go outside and look at a billboard i bet you that you would see an N.B.A allstar but you would never hear about the W. N.B.A. Also many people think that other people make a big deal of sexism toward women and how they should calm down and forget all about it ,but on the other hand other people are saying that men treat women like objects like there just something to look at and there saying how they should stop and give them the same amount
of respect and they should be talked to proper and treated proper not abused and we need to
STOP and start treating them how they deserved and how they feel to be treated. So if any of you men or women agree with me holla back (that means write me back)

Global Warming (Social Issue)
About this category: Environment

Do you know what Global Warming is???
It's when the Earth's atmostphere is covered by thick green house gases, then the Sun's heat will be trapped in the atmophere.
The Earth's temperature is increasing but people are not really doing anything. People are not doing anything because they are going to die anyways so what is the point....? Well the next generation got a life ahead of them but the people who doesn't care are cutting the years one by one.
You can make @ least a little change to your life to save the world.
You can:
-Ride buses and throw away the cars.
-RECYCLE!!!!!!!!!

Well that's all I can think of but...... I bet you can think of more things...

Pollution
About this category: Environment

Hi everyone ! I'm researching and gathering information for a social issue that affects all of us. The social issue that I picked is Pollution. Pollution affects us all in many diffferent ways because it leads to other important issues such as global warming, environmental problem's, species endangerment, and climate change. Can you post coments on your opinion and what side you stand on? Do you agree that pollution should be stopped or do you dissagree and choose not to care about pollution and let it go on? I'd appreciate any of your opinions and positions on this social issue, so can you please post comments and I will respect all opinions. Thank you !
